All Parents/Guardians of children attending Charles Dickens Elementary (Main & Annex Schools) are Members of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) which unites the two school communities into one cohesive group.
The Members of the PAC Executive (PAC Exec) are elected by you at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June each year for the following school year.

Vancouver School District and BC Councils
The Charles Dickens PAC Exec is a Member of both DPAC and BCCPAC. At the school-district level, Dickens Parents/Guardians have a voice in the system through the Vancouver School District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) and through the BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC). Both DPAC and BCCPAC advocate for Public Education at the provincial level.
