Ukulele Flash Mob at Dickens!

Surprise, surprise!!! ...a Ukulele Flash Mob showed up at the main school's Assembly on Monday, Jan 15: Parents and Staff participated in playing and singing "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars. 

Dickens PAC presented 30 Ukuleles (25 Concerts & 5 Tenors) and 30 Instructional Books for Paul's music classes. They were purchased at a bulk buy-rate with some of the funds raised at our 2017 SPRING FLING. A Dickens' Parent is also building a mobile wooden cabinet to house the instruments. Exciting times for our Kids!

In addition, we're hoping to eventually have two Ukuleles for each Classroom (Gr. 3-7).

Special Education: Navigating Inclusive Education

All VSB Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend!

Navigating Inclusive Education in the public school system will be presented and discussed at the next DPAC (District PAC) General Meeting.

Time: Thursday, January 25 at 7pm 
Location: Room 180, Vancouver School Board, 1580 West Broadway
