Huge thanks to all that came out this past Wednesday night! What a great turn out!
We heard from the Glen Drive Committee (more on that in another post!) and from the administration and Kelly Maxwell our treasurer. We also had a wonderful presentation by Laurie Schofield about the Dickens Philosophy. Fellow main school teacher, Jody, and annex teachers Jacquie and Mrs Miller were also on hand to answer questions.

The Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness Committee (PEDAW) cordially invites you to our fabulous upcoming event taking place on Thursday, December 6th, 2012 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre: 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver.
Presenting Courtney E. Martin, the award winning author of, “Perfect Girls, Starving Daughters: How the Quest for Perfection is Harming Young Women.” Disordered eating, food and fitness obsessions have become normalized in today’s society. Courtney will explore how young women today have come to dangerously define success as “effortless perfection,” and come to a solution for it.
